"occasional" vs "regular" ministry opportunities.

Many of our serving opportunities at TerraNova require a regular commitment. Once every 2-3 weeks or so, over a 4 month period of time. Other opportunities are "occasional," ranging from once-a-month to a few times a year.

"Regular" Serving Opportunities:

These serving opportunities give you the chance to stick with a team or a role for a while and make a prolonged impact. Don't be afraid, though. Almost all of the serving rotations are 4-month-at-a-time commitments.

The 4 month serving rotations go from March-June, July-October, and November-February. If you enjoy what you're doing, you're given the opportunity to continue doing it each new cycle. Or, you can change it up and try something new, and even come back later to what you had been doing.

"Occasional" Serving Opportunities:

These serving opportunities allow you to make a splash with your time and abilities on a more occasional basis -- based on the need and on your availability. Often these teams or ministry roles may only function once a month or less. That makes it easy to sign up for more than one, if different things strike your fancy.
