1: SERVE DAY @ THE ABBEY
Partnering with OC Rescue Mission to prepare their new property in Lake Forest for receiving residents. Saturday, August 28, 9am-2pm. Click here for more information.
2: Village of Hope Meals Team
Partnering with OCRM's Village of Hope to prepare and serve meals on the 3rd Saturday of every month. Join the team! Next date, Saturday, September 18. Each 3rd Saturday there are 2 different teams: one that preps the meals (3-5pm) and another that serves the meal and cleans up (5-7pm).
3: Kids Feeding Kids
Packaging 50,000 meals together for orphanages in Zambia. Friday evening, October 1 (we’ll provide pizza) and Saturday morning, October 2 (we’ll provide donuts and coffee). Everyone’s welcome! Invite friends, your soccer team, your work group!
4: BLOOD DRIVE
Partnering with LifeStream Blood Bank to provide blood for local hospitals. Before and after our normal weekend gatherings on October 9 & 10.
5: neighborhood dinner
Partnering with our neighbors at South County Outreach to provide weekly meals for any and all in our community. An opportunity to practice not just generosity but hospitality. Every Monday night this fall. We’re looking to build a large team of people who will come out once-a-month or so to simply eat with anyone who comes. We’re calling this the “Eat Team.” And we need another small team of people who will help coordinate details, called the “Lead Team.”
